Pakistan says dates for Chinese president’s visit to Islamabad being worked out

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Office said on Thursday that Pakistan and China are working out dates of President Xi Jinping’s visit to Islamabad.

In her weekly media briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, the Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said that a number of agreements and memorandum of understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed between the two countries during the visit.

No new dates finalized for Pak-India foreign secretary level talks

The foreign offices spokesperson further said that no new dates have been finalized for Pakistan-India foreign secretary level talks.

Tasnim Aslam said that as of now no meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of UN General Assembly is being worked out.
