ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khwaja Muhammad Asif Thursday said that Pakistan was having huge potential for investment in various sectors of economy.

In a meeting with Ambassador of Italy, Stefano Pontecorvo who called on the minister said that Pakistan was looking for strengthening relation with every country.

   

He said that there was a lot of potential in Pakistan in the field of energy, defense, trade and scientific and technological development which needed to be exploited.

For strengthening of relation mutual trade, business and people to people contact may be increased, he added.

During the meeting areas of mutual interest and cooperation in the field of defense and energy sector came under discussion, according to press release issued here.

The ambassador apprised the minister about the cordial relations Pakistan and Italy enjoying at various level.
