ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: More COVID-19 Cases are pouring in Pakistan with each passing day, and now the number of infected persons has reached 17,815 throughout the Country.

As per the data updated by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) on May 2, 417 (2.3%) COVID-19 patients have so far died of the disease while 4,715 (26.0%) have been cured.

By now, 193,859 persons have been tested across Pakistan to diagnose the Coronavirus.

With 6,733 Coronavirus Cases, Pakistan yet remains the worst-hit province in Pakistan followed by Sindh wherein 6,675 patients have so far been registered.

In Punjab, 115 patients have passed away and 2,205 have got recovered while Sindh has witnessed 118 deaths and 1,295 recoveries.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has so far recorded 2,799 Coronavirus Cases, 161 deaths, and 690 recoveries whereas Balochistan has 1,136 Cases, 16 deaths, and 183 recoveries.

Similarly, Gilgit-Baltistan has 340 patients, 3 of them have passed away and 255 have got recovered. While Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) has 66 patients and of them 43 have now been recovered.

In addition, 365 persons have been infected in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). Of them 4 have died now while 44 have been recovered.

The NCOC data further stated that 3,706 patients are admitted in 717 hospitals with COVID-19 facilities across the Country.
