BEIJING: A high level Pakistani delegation headed by Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif held a meeting with chiefs of Chinese governmental, autonomous companies and financial institutions in Beijing on Monday and finalized the proposals regarding coal and solar power projects.

   

The Chief Minister Punjab said that the transfer of technology is being given special significance in developmental cooperation between the two countries.

The Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal was also present in the meeting.

The Pakistani delegation arrived in Beijing on Sunday to hold talks with Chinese officials to step up work on Chinese funded projects in Pakistan.

The delegation includes the Minister for Planning and Development, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, the Secretary Economic Affairs Division Saleem Sethi and the Secretary Water and Power Nargis Sethi.
