Pakistan, China committed to complete 2nd phase of CPEC at earliest: Qureshi

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that both Pakistan and China are committed to complete all projects in the second phase of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) at the earliest.

Talking to the Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing who paid a farewell call on him at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Wednesday, Qureshi said that the lasting friendship of Pakistan and China has become an example in the world.CPEC - The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that both Pakistan and China are committed to complete all projects in the second phase of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) at the earliest. Shah Mahmood Qureshi congratulated the Chinese ambassador for receiving Hilal-e-Pakistan Award in recognition of his services. The Chinese ambassador thanked the foreign minister for his cooperation during his stay in Pakistan.

Lauding the services of Yao Jing to strengthen the relationship between Pakistan and China, the foreign minister expressed hope that the new Chinese ambassador will continue to work with the same commitment.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi congratulated the Chinese ambassador for receiving Hilal-e-Pakistan Award in recognition of his services.

The Chinese ambassador thanked the foreign minister for his cooperation during his stay in Pakistan.
