ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the National Defence University (NDU) in Islamabad on Thursday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
While addressing the participants of the National Security & War Course, the COAS shared his thoughts on the security environment of the region and his vision of enduring peace in Pakistan.
Highlighting internal and external challenges to national security, the COAS said that the full spectrum of these challenges demands comprehensive national response and strengthening of all state institutions.
The COAS said that Pakistan army will keep doing all that is required of us for the provision of a secure environment for sustained socio-economic progress.
The COAS also reiterated that Pakistan army is committed to defense and security of the Country, and shall continue to perform with national support.
On arrival at NDU, the COAS was received by the President NDU Lieutenant General Muhammad Saeed.
