DAKAR, Senegal: Pakistan and Senegal have signed the bilateral Agreement for the Abolition of Visa Requirements for the Holders of Diplomatic, Official and Service Passports.

The agreement was signed on April 27, 2021 in Dakar by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Senegal Dr. Ali Ahmed Arain and by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad of the Republic of Senegal Mrs. Aissata Tall Sall.

The Visa Abolition Agreement would enhance interaction and exchanges between Pakistan and Senegal, and facilitate travel by diplomats and government functionaries.

An Agreement on Military and Technical Cooperation between the two Countries was signed in February 2021.

Few other agreements are under process, covering diverse fields including agriculture, tourism, and higher education. This is an expression of desire on both sides to strengthen their relations.
