PAF fully equipped to defend aerial frontiers: Air Chief

RISALPUR: The Pakistan Air force (PAF) is fully equipped with state of the art weapons to defend aerial frontiers of the country, the Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt said on Wednesday.

In his address at the passing out parade of GD pilots at the PAF academy Risalpur, the Air Chief Marshal said that the PAF is not only defending the aerial frontiers of Pakistan from external threats but is also in lead role to eliminate anti-state elements in the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb operation.

The Air Chief Marshal said that the PAF has always been part and parcel in efforts to mitigate sufferings of flood and quake affected people as well as the internally displaced persons.
