Islamabad, Pakistan: When Pakistani civil and military leadership headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan is in Washington D C for showcasing Pakistan as a terrorism-free country, terrorists played havoc in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province again by launching two separate terrorist attacks in the city of Dera Ismael Khan which is also known as D I Khan.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan who is in Washington D C has strongly condemned the incident calling it a cowardly attempt of enemies of humanity and said nation of Pakistan stands like a iron wall against terrorism.

According to State Run Radio, 7 persons including three police personnel martyred in attacks those are condemned by Foreign Minister Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

According to DND News Agency, eye witnesses claimed that a woman suicide bomber detonated her inside trauma Centre of District Headquarter Hospital D I Khan on Sunday morning where Police brought two dead bodies of two constables who were gunned down by terrorists in a separate incident.

Around 26 persons got critical injuries in hospital and they have been shifted to CMH for treatment. Number of dead could increase as many of injured persons are in critical condition.

In statement in Washington today, FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi termed the incident a failed attempt to disrupt law and order.

Meanwhile, Ambassador of Ukraine in Islamabad Pakistan Lakomov Vladimir Ivanovich has condemned the attack and expressed his condolences for families of victims.

Our sincere and deep condolences to the brotherly people of Pakistan”, said Ambassador Lakomov.

Dera Ismail Khan is a city in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. It is situated on the west bank of the Indus River, about 300 kilometres (190 mi) south of the provincial capital Peshawar, and 230 kilometres (140 mi) northwest of Multan, Punjab.

Sources in KPK Police department while talking to DND News Agency said that foreign hands behind Sunday’s terror attacks can not be ruled out because attacks were systematic and could be link with an attempt of enemies of Pakistan to disrupt visit of Prime Minister to United States.

Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
