LORALAI, Pakistan: The security forces thwarted a terrorist attack on Police Line in Loralai area of Balochistan on Wednesday morning, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a press release, the ISPR said that three suicide bombers attempted to target Police Line in Loralai in the morning.

The ISPR said that suicide bombers were effectively checked by police at the entry gate. It said that one suicide bomber was killed by the police guard at the entry point while other two managed to get inside the police line.

Meanwhile, the Frontier Corps (FC) and Police Quick Response Forces (QRFs) immediately reached the site, and cordoned off the area.

The ISPR said that in an exchange of fire, one suicide bomber exploded himself and the other was killed by the security forces. It said that the Police Head Constable Allah Nawaz embraced shahadat (martyrdom) while two Constables got injured.

It further told that the Police Line compound has been cleared by the security forces.
