RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The security forces apprehended two suicide bombers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.
In a statement, the ISPR said that as part of the Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, the security forces carried out intelligence based operations in Sarai Nourang and Kotkashah Gulikhan areas of Lakki Marwat, and nabbed two suicide bombers.
The ISPR said that these suicide bombers namely terrorist Naimat Ullah and terrorist Siddique Ullah came from across the border, and were being traced and tracked by intelligence agencies.
Suicide jackets and communication equipment were also recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile in another intelligence based operation conducted in Janjol Forest near Dossali area of North Waziristan, a large quantity of weapons and ammunition including explosives, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), communication equipment and detonators were recovered.
Separately, the security forces also apprehended a terrorist near Dalbandin City in Balochistan while they were transporting explosive and 400 detonators from Naukundi to Kharan.
