RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) along with Police and intelligence agencies conducted a joint intelligence based operation (IBO) in Dera Ghazi Khan as part of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, and arrested two terrorists facilitator gangs including women operatives.
In a press release issued on Friday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that huge quantity of illegal and automatic weapons, ammunition and law enforcement agencies (LEAs) uniforms were recovered from these gangs.
The weapons and ammunition were being transported for terrorist activities in major Cities of Punjab and Sindh, the ISPR said.
In a separate press release, the ISPR said that the security forces repulsed a terrorist attack on a border post in Khyber agency.
While giving a brief detail, the ISPR said that terrorists including two suicide bombers from across the border attempted fire raid and target Misthara Post, two km North West of Jarobi on the Pak-Afghan border.
The ISPR said that both suicide bombers were killed; however, two soldiers also got injured in exchange of fire with terrorists.
