RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Four Pakistan Army Soldiers embraced martyrdom in an exchange of fire with terrorists in South Waziristan late last night, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement on Friday, the ISPR said that terrorists raided a security forces post in Makeen area of South Waziristan late last night.

The ISPR said that Pakistan Army Troops responded promptly and killed four terrorists.

However, during the exchange of fire with terrorists, four Soldiers including Lance Naik Imran Ali, Sepoy Atif Jahangir, Sepoy Anees Ur Rehman, and Sepoy Aziz embraced shahadat.

The ISPR said that the area’s sanitization was in progress.
