Four Pakistan army soldiers embraced martyrdom during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) conducted on the reported presence of terrorists in Mir Ali area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.

The martyred soldier included 40-year-old Havaldar Munawar, the resident of Bahawalnagar, 31-year-old Sepoy Zaka Ullah, the resident of Laki Marwat, 34-year-old Sepoy Farhan, the resident of Kohat, and 30-year-old Sepoy Sheraz, the resident of Abbottabad.

In the operation, one terrorist was apprehended along with weapons and ammunition.

In another operation in Tank, the security forces killed two terrorists identified as Shahzeb alias Zakir and Daniyal.

These terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces, target killing, and kidnapping for ransom.

The security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from them.
