PTV: England will be desperate to win the second ODI against Pakistan on Friday as the visiting side has not yet registered its first win since it arrived in the UAE to play the bilateral series including all formats.
The second one day international (ODI) between Pakistan and England is set to start at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi at 04:00 pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
Pakistan is leading the four-match ODI series 1-0 and as compared to England, seems much more confident.
In the first ODI played on Wednesday, Muhammad Hafeez’s unbeaten 102 runs led Pakistan to clinch a comfortable six-wicket win against England.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has included Peshawar’s Iftikhar Ahmed in the ODI squad as a replacement for Younis Khan who prior to the beginning of first ODI announced to retire.
Younis Khan played his last ODI on Wednesday; however, he failed to make a big impact because he could only score 9 runs in the match. Younis Khan scored 7249 runs in 265 ODI matches with an average of 31.24. He also made 7 centuries and 48 half-centuries. But for the past seven years, he just scored 2 centuries in 50-over game.

Pakistan has already beaten England in the three-match Test series by 2-0.
The ongoing four-match ODI series will be followed by three Twenty20 matches from November 26 to 30.
On Thursday, the PCB announced a 15-member squad for the Twenty20 games to be played against England. The middle-order batsman Umar Akmal was dropped from the squad because according to the PCB, he violated its code of conduct.
