RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has informed that Lieutenant General Azhar Saleh Abbasi has been posted as Corps Commander Mangla.

In a press release issued in Rawalpindi on Saturday, the ISPR said that Major General Azhar Saleh Abbasi has been promoted to the Rank of Lieutenant General, and subsequently posted as Corps Commander Mangla being Lt General.

The ISPR further said that Lt General Omar Mahmood Hayat has been posted as the Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) while Lt General Umar Farooq Durrani has been posted as the Chairman Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF).

Earlier, Lt General Umar Farooq Durrani was posted as Corps Commander Mangla whereas Lt General Omar Mahmood Hayat was working as the Chairman POF.
