LAHORE, Pakistan: A Multan-bound bus carrying more than 30 passengers was hijacked last night in Punjab’s Khanewal district.

Earlier, it was reported that the bus was owned by Daewoo Express but when the transport company was contacted, its officials denied that any of their buses was hijacked. They said that it was another private company bus which was hijacked.
Neither the identity of the hijackers could be ascertained nor any further information about the hijacking was received till the filing of this report.
