Monitoring Desk: The Co-pilot Andreas Lubitz of Germanwings A320 was sick on the day he allegedly crashed airplane with 150 people on-board over Alps.

According to prosecutor office, the police have found a torn sick leave note for the date of the crashed from the house of Andreas Lubitz. This new development indicates that Lubitz wanted to avoid to fly on the day he crashed the plane but then he had changed his mind and went for flight.

It may be mentioned that prosecutor Robin held a press conference on Thursday and alleged that Lubitz deliberately crashed Germanwings A320 over Alps.

Prosecutor Brice Robin was of the view during the press conference that sudden descent of the plane”, could “only be deliberate”.

Flight Data and Black Box investigations indicated that Co-pilot left in sole control of the Airbus A320 after the captain left the cockpit and then co-pilot locked the door from inside therefore Pilot could not reenter the cockpit.

Prosecutor believed that Co-pilot was called several times to open the door but he never responded to such calls.

“He (Pilot) knocked on the door and there was no answer from the co-pilot either,” he said.

“One can then hear the noise of human breathing within the cockpit, and that human breathing noise can be heard until the final impact which means that theoretically the co-pilot was alive”, said Robin during Thursday’s press conference.

Lufthansa released information about the co-pilot, Lubitz and maintained thathe was on the job since September 2013 and had 630 hours of flying experience while the pilot of the plane had more 6,000 hours of experience flying the Airbus A320 model.
