Boat carrying 250 Asylum seekers going to Europe capsized in Libyan waters

Monitoring Desk: Libyan Navy confirmed that a wooden boat carrying 250 Asylum seekers going to Europe capsized in Libyan waters.

Libyan Navy have rescued 26 persons after the boat sunk near Tajoura, east of the capital Tripoli, said navy spokesman Ayub Qassem,

“There are so many dead bodies floating in the sea. Migrants on the capsized boat were mostly Africans, among them women” said Ayub Wassem while talking to a news agency.
