ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Office said on Thursday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit China in the first week of July.

It will be Nawaz Sharif’s first foreign visit as prime minister after victory in May 11 elections.

   

The foreign office spokesman said that the Prime Minister Sharif will discuss matters relating mutual cooperation with the Chinese leadership.

He said that prime minister will also discuss with China the possibility of creating an economic corridor.

Referring to reports about UK Prime Minister David Cameron’s visit to Islamabad, Foreign office spokesman said that he can’t verify his visit.

Moreover, he said that fresh dates for the visit of the US Secretary of State John Kerry to Pakistan are being finalized.
