PakistanNawaz Sharif pledges to overcome load-shedding

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that the energy crises was his party’s first priority and that after coming into power his government would initially bring an end to unannounced loadshedding in the country.

In a meeting held his Raiwind residence on Wednesday to address the energy crisis, the PML-N leader said all resources would be fully utilised to bring an end to loadshedding whereas no deicsion has been taken to freeze development funds.

Former federal finance minister Shaukat Tareen, Mian Mansha among other leaders of the PML-N also attended the meeting.

Moreover, apart from the energy crises, other challenges faced by the country were also discussed in the meeting.
