Nawaz Sharif dares opponents to win 2018 polls

LAHORE, Pakistan: The President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Tuesday lambasted the opponents particularly Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, and said they would be cleaned-bowled in next general elections.

“You will be thrown out of politics”, Nawaz Sharif said while addressing the PML-N Social Media Convention in Lahore. “PML-N will sweep 2018 elections,” he added.

The former prime minister said in apparent reference to Imran Khan that “You look for umpire’s finger or grumble about rigging whenever elections are held”.

Nawaz Sharif also once again criticized his disqualification for having Iqama, and said it was need of the hour to strive for restoration of judiciary. He said his disqualification wasn’t the issue; rather, the sanctity of the Constitution and vote must be ensured.

The president PML-N said he would not withdraw from making efforts to preserve the sanctity of vote.

Nawaz said decisions against him had disrupted development in the Country. He said they ended the drama of load-shedding as well as eliminated terrorism.

The former prime minister said now the youth would make the decision, adding no one could stopped youth of PML-N.

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz in her address at the PML-N Social Media Convention said PML-N social media wing had spread across the Country. She said PML-N Social media team played effective role in GT Road rally and NA-120 by-election. She said Social media fought case of Nawaz Sharif everywhere.

Maryam Nawaz said people gaining millions of votes should have been respected. She said attack on elected prime minister was an attack on every voter.

“There is no puppet in democracy,” she said.
