CHAMAN, Pakistan: A Solidarity Rally with Palestinians was hit by a terror bombing in the Chaman area of Balochistan on Friday afternoon, resulting in the martyrdom of six people and injuries to 14 further.

The rally was being organized by the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam – Nazaryati (JUI-N).

However, the JUI-N leaders Maulana Abdul Qadir Luni and Qari Mehrullah remained unharmed in the explosion.

Condemning the blast which took place in Chaman’s Murghi Bazaar, the Spokesperson of the Government of Balochistan Liaquat Shahwani said that the targeted area has been sealed while an emergency has been declared in hospitals to ensure the best treatment to the injured persons.

Liaquat Shahwani said that 10 injured persons have been shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Chaman while 4 have been taken to Quetta.
