ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan armed forces have paid tribute to father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his 141st Birthday being Celebrated on Monday (December 25).

“His vision of human values, social justice, equality and fraternity constituted motivation for creation of Pakistan. Following the same we can keep Pakistan safe and strong,” the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was quoted as saying by the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor in a twitter message.

Meanwhile, the ISPR has also released a patriotic song as “A Tribute to Father of the Nation” in connection with his birthday. 

The 141st birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is being Celebrated by the Nation today, with renewed commitment to work hard for realization of the ideals he envisioned for Pakistan.

It is a public holiday today and national flag is being hoisted at all public and private buildings.

Earlier, the day dawn with Qur’an Khawani at the Quaid’s mausoleum in Karachi.

In connection with the birth anniversary celebrations of Father of the Nation, an impressive change of guard ceremony was held at the Mazar of Quaid-e-Azam in Karachi during which cadets of Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul mounted the ceremonial guard duty.

Likewise, a number of events including seminars, debates and exhibitions are being held both at official and civil society levels to highlight life, achievements and different aspects of the personality of the Quaid-e-Azam.
