Islamabad, Pakistan: The schedule for elections of National Press Club Islamabad has been released. The annual elections 2015-16 of the National Press Club (NPC) would be held on January 4.
According to schedule, the polling will be held from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm and voters are required to bring original CNIC or the office card on the polling day, says a press release issued here today.

The election committee, headed by Nasir Zaidi, finalized the schedule at a meeting held here on Sunday. others members including Iqbal Jafri, Ahsan Premee, Nasir Mir, and Munawar Naqvi attended the meeting.
According to details, the nomination papers will be received from December 22-25 between 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the National Press Club.
Initial list of candidates will be displayed on December 25 at 10:00 pm while the scrutiny will carried out on December 26.
Objections can be filed on December 27 between 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Objections will be heard on December 28 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm while the provisional list of candidates will be displayed on December 28 at 10:00 pm.
The election committee has set December 30 for withdrawal of nomination papers by 8:00 p.m. The final list of candidates will be displayed on December 30 at 10:00 pm.
A non-refundable fee of Rs. 500 will be required to be deposited by candidates contesting for president, vice president, secretary, joint secretary and finance secretary.
Those contesting for executive body slots would have to deposit a non-refundable fee of Rs. 200.
Nomination papers will be available at the National Press Club, Islamabad from December 21-24 between 11:00 am to 8:00 pm daily. No changes will be made in the polling timings.
