ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The seven-member parliamentary delegation of Bahrain led by the Speaker of Council of Representatives of the kingdom of Bahrain Ms. Fawzia Bint Abdullah Zainal has arrived in Pakistan on an official visit.

The visit is being undertaken at the invitation by the Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser.

The MNA & Member of the Pak-Bahrain Parliamentary Friendship Group (PFG) Naureen Ibrahim welcomed the visiting delegation on their arrival.

During its visit, Bahrain’s parliamentary delegation, besides having a call on with the Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, would also meet President Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani, the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Members of Pak-Bahrain Parliamentary Friendship Group, and other dignitaries.

During their visit, the matters related to inter-parliamentary cooperation, Pakistan-Bahrain bilateral relations, trade, regional security issues & cooperation in the diverse economic fields would be deliberated upon.

The delegation would also visit historical and traditional sights in Islamabad.

The visit by Bahrain’s parliamentary delegation will prove a harbinger of change and a milestone for strengthening bilateral relations.

The visit will also open new avenues of political and parliamentary cooperation & coordination between two brotherly Countries.
