ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The National Assembly will meet on Thursday at 10:00 am at the Parliament House in Islamabad.

The House Session was convened under the Clause (2) of Article 91 of the 1973 Constitution of Pakistan.National Assembly to meet on Thursday morning

In the Session, the newly elected Members of the National Assembly will take oath.

Meanwhile, in the Joint Parliamentary Party Meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif officially nominated Shahbaz Sharif as the Prime Minister and Sardar Ayaz Sadiq as the Speaker of the National Assembly.

Earlier, the newly elected members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly took oath in Peshawar.

The Speaker Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani administered oath to them.

The Election of Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will be held tomorrow.

The Balochistan Assembly’s Session for oath-taking of newly elected MPAs is also being held today.
