Musharraf treason case: Special court reserves judgment on FIA report

ISLAMABAD: The special court formed to try former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf for high treason on Friday reserved its judgment on provision of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) report to the accused.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Faisal Arab and comprising Justice Tahira Safdar and Justice Yawar Ali was hearing the case in Islamabad on Friday.

During today’s proceedings, the counsel of Musharraf, Barrister Farogh Naseem, sought not only FIA report about the case, but all relevant documents, adding that the original FIA enquiry would make things clear.

Later, the court reserved the judgment on request seeking FIA report, and the hearing was adjourned till April 28.
