Musharraf granted exemption from appearance in judges’ detention case

ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Monday accepted former President Pervez Musharraf’s plea for exemption from appearance for today’s hearing after his media report was presented before it.

The court judge Atiqur Rahman was hearing the judges’ detention case during which the counsel of Musharraf, Illyas Siddiqui, presented the medical report of his client and sought his client’s exemption from appearance for today’s hearing.

The judge on the basis of the medical report accepted Musharraf’s plea for exemption from appearance and adjourned the hearing till February 10.
