RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: A delegation of media persons from Pakistan held a meeting with the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Raja Ali Ejaz in Riyadh on December 3.

The Pakistani media persons were in Riyadh wherein they participated in the two-day (December 2-3, 2019) Saudi Media Forum “Media Industry— Opportunities and Challenges” organized by the Saudi Journalists Association.Pakistani media persons’ delegation meets Ambassador Raja Ali Ejaz in Riyadh

The delegation members amongst others comprised Mr. Taimur Shamil from Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV World), Mr. Zahid Malik from Metro Watch and Mr. Agha Iqrar Haroon from Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency.

The ambassador encouraged the visiting journalists to benefit from the opportunity to establish linkages with the Saudi Media professionals.

The Saudi Media Forum included working sessions, specialized workshops and an open meeting, in the presence of a number of prominent experts, influential in the media industry field in the world, and representatives of Arab and international media.

Its aim was to discuss and interact with emerging media issues and matters, and their relationship with the communicative developments in the Arab region and the world.

Chief of the Air Staff expressed his gratitude for the honour of receiving the Bahrain Medal - First Class. On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
