LAHORE, Pakistan: The Defence Day of Pakistan is being observed across the Country on Monday with zeal and fervour.

The General Officer Commanding Major General Muhammad Shahbaz Khan laid a floral wreath and offered fatiha at Yadgar-e-Shuhada Lahore Garrison to pay homage and tributes to the Shuhada and Ghazis who rendered supreme sacrifice in defence of the motherland.

Meanwhile, the homage was paid to Major Shabir Sharif Shaheed on Defence Day at Lahore Miani Sahib graveyard.

The General Officer Commanding Major General Raza Aizad laid a floral wreath at Major Shabir Sharif Shaheed’s (Nishan-e-Haider) grave on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and offered Fateha.
