IndiaManmohan Singh unlikely to attend Nawaz swearing-in ceremony

NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will most probably not attend the swearing-in ceremony of Pakistan’s PM-in-waiting Nawaz Sharif, Indian media reports said Tuesday.

Though Singh’s presence at Nawaz Sharif’s swearing-in ceremony is doubtful, Pakistan’s would-be PM himself has accepted Manmohan Singh’s request to come to India, an Indian news channel reported.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)leader Nawaz Sharif, who is all set to be crowned the Prime minister of Pakistan for the third time, had yesterday invited Indian PM Manmohan Singh to his oath taking ceremony, as well as to Pakistan.

Singh Singh had written a letter to Nawaz Sharif and congratulated him for the victory and also inviting him to India.
