PESHAWAR Pakistan: The Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar is providing blood to around 45,000 patients annually to bring them into normal life.

A Spokesman for the hospital said that Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar is considered to be one of the leading hospitals where poor patients were provided blood in such a large number.

Blood is properly screened through a latest technology in the hospital after which it was injected to the patients suffering from different diseases.

As many as eight refrigerators have been kept in the blood bank where red blood cells, platelets and plasma are properly stored in a modern ways.

The spokesman said that room temperature of the blood bank was according to the requirement, adding it was being renovated and strengthened with provision of state-of-the-art facilities so that no patient suffer.
