KARACHI, Pakistan: The Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari has said that the killers of former member of National Assembly Syed Ali Raza Abidi can’t escape.

In a condolence statement, Asif Ali Zardari expressed grief and sorrow over the killing of Ali Raza Abidi. He also expressed sympathies towards his bereaved family.

The former president said that the Sindh government must arrest the killers and expose the conspiracy.

‏The 46-year-old former Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader and MNA Syed Ali Raza Abidi was gunned down outside his residence at Khayaban-e-Ghazi in Karachi on Tuesday night.

Ali Raza Abidi sustained serious injuries as a result of firing by assailants riding a motorcycle, and taken to PNS Shifa hospital. However, the succumbed to his wounds while being given treatment.

Taking notice of his brutal killing, Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah directed the Sindh Police Chief to submit a report.
