ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Mushaal Hassein Malick, the wife of detained Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Yasin Malik and the Chairperson Peace and Culture Organization, said that the fascist Indian government adopted a three-pronged strategy to materialize the nefarious design of changing the demography of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

In a statement on Wednesday, Mushaal said that first the imperialist India has been committing genocide of Kashmiri people for the last over 70 years but the policy of genocide and repression didn’t work.

Mushaal said that then the brutal authorities opened gates of extremist Hindu settlers by removing citizenship safeguards after stripping the special status of the occupied valley on August 5, 2019.

However, Mushaal stated that along with the policy of settlers, the fascist junta is working on another malicious strategy to bifurcate the Kashmir valley into two states namely the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh to change the demographic of the valley.

The Chairperson Peace and Culture Organization said that India is openly violating the Geneva Conventions by removing natives and settling non-native and anti-Muslim settlers to convert the Muslim majority area into a minority.

The Kashmiri leader went on to say that the scenic valley has already been converted into a garrison city but the notorious authorities deployed additional troops in order to materialize the nefarious agenda and sinister plan.

Mushaal stated that the Narendra Modi government is changing the demography of the Kashmiri in sheer violation of UN resolutions but unfortunately the business interests have made the world powers blind to take decisive action against this human tragedy.

The Chairperson Peace and Culture Organization vowed that the Kashmiri people would not accept any such move and would resist at all costs.

Mushaal Malick called upon the President of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and the United Nations Secretary-General to take note of the repression in the occupied valley and take bold steps to ensure executions of their own passed resolutions to resolve the long-delayed Kashmir dispute once and for all.

Mushaal said that Kashmir was the longest unresolved dispute and the people of Kashmir were being punished by the Indian forces for asking for their political and just rights.

The Hurriyat leader urged that the international community and human rights organizations should come out of this hypocrisy and stand for justice, human rights, and the basic right to self-determination for the people of Kashmir.
