In everlasting memory of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IOJ&K) on July 13, 1931 and July 15, 2016 in Turkey when a failed coup attempt was made, Pakistan Singer Hadiqa Kiani and Turkish Singer Ali Tolga have sung a song “Daimi Bahar (Eternal Spring)” in Urdu and Turkish languages.
The Turkish Lyrics of the song ‘Eternal Spring’ were written by the Turkish Songwriter Turgay Evren whereas Hadiqa Kiani wrote its Urdu Lyrics.
English Lyrics of the Song ‘Daimi Bahar (Eternal Spring)’;
The Crescent is sad in the sky
The stars are falling down
In the grips of an occupation
Hopes are feeling cold
In the dreams of an innocent child
In the smiles of a rose
On the bright face of a martyr
Dark clouds disappear
Your way is my way, o martyr
We walk in your footsteps
On 13th, 15th July
We fall to the earth
In a spring morning
We will bloom in Kashmir
To a world full of honor
We will wake up with you
In a spring morning
We will bloom in Kashmir
To a world full of honor
We will wake up with you
From the darkness of oppression
Take me to the light of peace
Help us change our condition dear Lord
It’s our sincere prayer
Open the doors of your mercy
Open them over there
In the beautify valley of Kashmir
This is our humble request
Your way is my way, o martyr
We walk in your footsteps
On 13th, 15th July
We fall to the earth
In a spring morning
We will bloom in Kashmir
To a world full of honor
We will wake up with you
In a spring morning
We will bloom in Kashmir
To a world full of honor
We will wake up with you
The song ‘Eternal Spring’ has been released on July 13, 2020 when Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) and across the globe are observing the Kashmir Martyrs’ Day to pay homage to the 22 innocent and unarmed Kashmiris who stood up for truth and justice against the tyranny of the Dogra force in 1931.
