- Mushaal fears the body might face the fate of the League of Nation
ISLAMABAD: Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the Chairperson Peace and Culture Organisation, has demanded that the restructuring and radical overhaul of the United Nations as at present it is so powerless that it could not implement its own passed resolutions regarding settlement of decades-long Kashmir dispute, which is burning like a living hell.
Speaking at ann Islamabad Literature Festival on the Kashmir issue here on Saturday, Mushaal said that if the UN could not fulfill the purpose of its establishment, its fate might not a different from that of the League of Nations, which was abolished due to its inability to serve the real purpose of its formation.
Mushaal, the wife of illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Yasin Malik, said that time rip the UN body should be strengthened so as truly it could become a voice of voiceless rather than an organization to protect and safeguard the interests of the few powerful countries.
During her passionate address, the senior Kashmiri leader urged the participants and organizers to hold such festivals and program so as to educate the world community about the unabated tyrannies and state terrorism unleashed by the fascist Narendra Modi government in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The chairperson added that the occupied valley has been turned into the largest torture cell and biggest open prison in the world but ironically the international community and world powers turned blind eyes towards the history worst war crimes committed by Indian brutal forces.
She said that the Indian fascist government became a threat for world peace, as it is now the world’s most dangerous place for minorities especially for the Muslims, where they were not allowed to go to mosques and even demolished their homes and mosques.
Mushaal went on to say that BJP goons are rooming freely in India and are attacking Muslims sans any fear because they are doing all these under government patronage, demanding that OIC should take notice of this brutality and barbarity in India as well as in Kashmir, where they made life for Muslims a hell.
