JIT is working on Hamid Mir case and investigating all possibilities including involvement of Geo and Jang in this incident. According to sources list of possibilities also include the involvement of administration of Geo and Jang group in attacking its staffer as this media House has bitter relations with prime intelligence agency of Pakistan –the ISI. Other possibilities include involvement of extremists groups including Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) that was allegedly involved in attack on anchorperson Raza Rumi in Lahore. Involvement of terrorists groups working in Baluchistan, involvement of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), involvement of foreign intelligence agencies are on the list.

“There is no need to share investigation to Hamid Mir family or with Geo Television because JIT is supposed to submit report to Judicial Commission that will be submitted”, said police circles of Karachi.
