JI has no link with PTI’s civil disobedience: minister

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has no link with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) civil disobedience movement, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister for local government and rural development Inayatullah Khan said.

The minister said that the people have given mandate to the provincial government and the JI will oppose any step being taken for dissolution of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly.

The PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday night gave Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif a 48-hour deadline to meet his demands and announced to launch a civil disobedience campaign against the incumbent government.
