Jang Group’s newspapers, watching Geo TV

RAWALPINDI: Jang newspaper and watching Geo TV ban in cantonment areas,  says twitter of Rameeza Nizami. There are some reports on twitters and through electronic media that Pakistan army on Wednesday announced a ban on the newspapers of Jang Group and Geo TV transmission in its offices.

   

Managing Director of Waqt News of Nawa-i-Waqt Rameeza Nizami in her twitter says:

Moreover, Jang Group’s newspapers and watching Geo TV was also banned in Army Mess and lounges. The move came after the news channel breached the code of conduct by accusing the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Lieutenant General Zaheerul Islam of masterminding the attempt on senior journalist Hamid Mir.  Zaid Hamid who is considered close to armed forces circles also twitted as follow:
