WASHINGTON DC: “All Star Group” comprising leading IT professionals called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at Embassy of Pakistan in Washington DC.
The group included Mr. Imran ul Haq Khan, Mr. Hashmat Malik, Mr. Hassan Ahmad, Mr. Dilawar Syed, Mr. Rehan Jalil, Mr. Salman Akhter and Mr. Mansoor Khan.
The group exchanged views on strengthening academic institutions, research and development, development of standards institutions including in technology field, training for IT Technicians and Engineers and Vocational training in IT field.
The prime minister informed that development of IT is amongst highest priorities of the government. He added that this sector entails huge job opportunities for the youth.
Imran Khan pledged all possible support by government institutions for developing a robust IT sector.
Separately a group of leading IT Entrepreneurs consisting of Mr. Najeeb A. Ghauri, Mr. Amir Khan, Mr. Atif Khan, Mr. Jamal Hamdani and Mr. Shahid Khan also met Prime Minister Imran Khan at Pakistan’s Embassy in Washington.
The group exchanged views on software development, promoting IT based solutions, digitization and bandwidth enhancement in Pakistan.
