Rumors Hint At Berlin Secretly Being Alive
If anyone has to ask me what the worst part of Money Heist was, it was undoubtedly Berlin dying. Though the character he played was a pervert and vicious, his character had a charm to it. He was killed in the season two finale after successfully helping the gang get out of the Royal Mint of Spain. But, here comes the best news of all. You just might not be seeing Berlin only in the flashbacks anymore. The actor and the heartthrob of the world, Pedro Alonso, has hinted that Berlin might be coming back after all this time.
People Can’t Accept The Death!?
Berlin, as mentioned, was killed after the police managed to get inside the Royal Mint to stop the robbery. He stays behind to hold them up, while the rest of the gang easily escapes through the tunnel. The season 2 closes on him being shot in the chest multiple times by the police. After this season, he only appeared in the flashbacks with The Professor and his marriage with Tatiana.
Even after all the flashbacks, fans are desperate to see Berlin back in action. While addressing various theories surfacing on the web about his character, the face behind Berlin – Pedro remarked:
“After Berlin died, it was funny how it was impossible for a lot of people to believe he actually died.
“Some still insisted that he was going to come back to life, somehow.”
How Is He Coming Back?
However, the latest theory surfaced when we see a passionate embrace between Berlin and Palermo after the latter accepts his love for him. In the scene, Berlin goes on to say that they will meet again. So, are they meeting again?
“I’m confident that one way or another, time will bring us back together.”
He further continued that filming the scenes of the character’s death was emotional for him.
“It’s as if I had to discover a new Berlin and a new lighter perspective for the role.
“So we can say that in seasons 1 and 2, I had to work with the visible side of the moon, while in the later ones [3 & 4], I work with the invisible side.
“And paradoxically, the invisible side has more light than the visible one.”
Pedro Shares The Love Of Viewers
He also talked about how much love he has received for the role of Berlin, even when the character was awful. People get excited when they see his character. He continued:
“Even though Berlin is dangerous, he still knows how to enjoy life.
“Because he’s fearless, daring and his character is so inviting. So yes, he’s questionable, terrible, but also fun and exciting.”
With the fan theories surfacing time and again, we can only wish this one turns out to be true. The season 5 is alleged to stream on Netflix by August. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
