IranIran denies giving up its nuclear rights

TEHRAN: Iran will not give up its nuclear rights, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in a statement on Wednesday, adding that pressure would not make Iran abandon its right.

Rouhani said that he intends to hold meetings with foreign ministers from six powers which include Russia‚ China‚ France‚ Britain‚ the United States and Germany in New York this month where he will attend the session of UN General Assembly.

Earlier‚ President Rouhani promised more transparency, saying he wanted serious talks with world powers to resolve Western suspicions about Iranian nuclear programme.

Meanwhile‚ International Atomic Energy Agency is continuously urging Iran to provide necessary cooperation to remove suspicions about its nuclear capability.
