ABBOTTABAD: Chairman Abbottabad Commission Justice Retired Javed Iqbal has said institutions have been declared accountable for Abbottabad operation.

In an interview‚ he said the commission worked within its given mandate and formulated recommendations regarding the hunt of Osama bin Laden. He said a comprehensive report was presented to former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and it is prerogative of the government to publish the report or otherwise.

   

He said the commission has fixed responsibility to each institution and individual found guilty for the incident and no clean chit has been given to anyone.

Justice Javed Iqbal said the commission has also highlighted the role of diplomats and agencies in the incident.
