India’s assertion of Kashmir being its integral part torn apart: Dr Firdous

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that UN Security Council’s meeting negated the Indian claim that Kashmir is their internal matter.

In a series of tweets on Tuesday, Dr Firdous said that the International Community has taken notice of the Occupied Kashmir situation and is expressing concerns over the Indian unilateral actions there. She said that India can neither change reality of the festering dispute through its unilateral actions nor can hoodwink the World Community.

The special assistant also welcomed the US President Donald Trump’s reconciliatory role on Kashmir situation and the regional peace.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the nation is proud of the fact that Prime Minister Imran Khan strongly contested the case of Kashmir in the World. She said that Pakistan will present the case of oppressed Kashmiri people and the Indian injustices at every forum. She said that India will be shown the mirror of its oppression and tyranny at every forum.

Dr Firdous also said that Pakistan firmly stands with their Kashmiri brethren in their just struggle for the right to self-determination. She said that we will continue to extend political, diplomatic and moral support to Kashmiris till the dawn of independence.
