ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Indian forces martyred three more Pakistani civilians including a woman and left eight injured on Tuesday in Nezapir Sector along the Line of Control (LoC).

The martyred included 55-year-old Ghulam Qaider S/O Lal Din, 12-year-old Mariam Bibi and 10-year-old Haider Ali 10 years. They were residents of Kirni village.

   

Besides, the Indian forces also injured eight further people including women and children.

In order to register a strong protest over the indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by Indian army, the Director General (SA & SAARC) Dr Mohammad Faisal summoned the Indian Deputy High Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia today (Wednesday), and condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along the LoC in Nezapir Sector on October 15.

The director general (SA & SAARC) urged the Indian side to respect the 2003 ceasefire arrangement; investigate these and other incidents of ceasefire violations; instruct the Indian forces to respect the ceasefire, in letter and spirit and maintain peace on the LoC and the Working Boundary. He urged that the Indian side should permit UNMOGIP to play its mandated role as per the UN Security Council resolutions.
