MONITORING DESK: The renowned Indian actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha has blasted the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government over the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), stating that India is being ruled by One Man show and Two Men Army.

Without quoiting the names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi (One man Show), Bipin Rawat – the Chief of Defence Staff of India, and Manoj Mukund Naravane – the Chief of the Army Staff (Two Men Army), Shatrughan Sinha stated that rule of law and democracy are bygone words in the Indian society.


While addressing a Hindu-Muslim meeting, Shatrughan Sinha was of the view that Muslim minority in India is facing purge and subjugation, and this is the time that all Indians irrespective of religious divide stand together to protect an integral part of the Indian society – Muslims population.

The actor and politician maintained that whatever happened in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Aligarh University are unacceptable and Indian youth has come out to save the identity of a democratic India and is trying to save the Country from disaster.

“Minorities are facing brunt since long. They are purged and subjugated. For how long minorities will tolerate?” he questioned.

Shatrughan Sinha stated that Indian elections were fraud and the Supreme Court has observed that there was a discrepancy in vote count in 345 seats out of 547 election appeals came before the Court.

The actor added that 651 members of the European Union Parliament out of 750 plus have expressed dissatisfaction over the democratic and human rights situation in India.

Shatrughan Sinha is an Indian film actor and politician who is known for his outspokenness and blunt comments.

Apart from being a member of Lok Sabha (2009–2014, 2014–2019) and Rajya Sabha twice, he was the Union Cabinet Minister of Health and Family Welfare (January 2003 – May 2004) and Shipping (August 2004) in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. In 2016, his biography, entitled Anything but Khamosh (Silent), was released in which he stated that silence against subjugation is a social and religious crime.

Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
