ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has extended heartiest felicitations to H.E. Sheikh Khalid Bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani on assuming the esteemed portfolio of Prime Minister of Qatar.
In a letter written to H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa, the Chairman Senate has expressed the hope that under his able and visionary leadership, Qatar will continue to progress and prosper and the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Qatar will be further strengthened in the best interests of the people and for realizing ideals of peace, cooperation and development.

Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa has replaced Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani as the Qatari Prime Minister after his resignation.
