PoliticsImran Khan says PTI not invited for APC on Karachi

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said PTI was not invited for an All Parties Conference (APC) convened to discuss the law and order situation in Karachi; but, he is raring to work in concert with parties for the peace of city.

In a statement, the former captain-turned-politician said Karachi continued to bleed since over twenty years and all the former governments failed to tackle this issue, demanding the government to work out a novel and revolutionary strategy for the purpose.

The PTI, he added, is willing to tender its proposals, if the government is putting up an effort in earnest to solve the Karachi issue disregarding all political affiliations.

Police will have to be de-politicized and militant wings of all political parties will have to be abolished for the peace, he asserted.
