PakistanHEC‚ Ministry of IT to work jointly for promotion of information

Higher Education Commission and Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom have agreed to work jointly for the promotion of Information and Communication Technology in the country.

It was agreed during a visit of a high level delegation of the Ministry to HEC in Islamabad led by its Secretary Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qadir.

Speaking on the occasion‚ Chairperson HEC Dr. Javaid Laghari said Pakistan today is a regional leader in the field of information and communication technology.

He also informed that due to revolutionary reforms in the sector‚ Pakistani universities have been included among the top world and Asian educational institutes.
